Beyond visuals: Designing experiences with purpose

Gamarjoba! I’m Tamar Kutalia, a Digital Designer with a strong focus on UI/UX and brand design, currently based in Amsterdam. My journey into design started from a curiosity about how people think, behave, and interact with digital products. Over time, that curiosity evolved into creating user-centered experiences that combine strategy, functionality, and visual clarity.

I’ve worked across agencies, startups, and product teams, designing responsive interfaces, digital products, websites, and visual systems across different industries. Through close collaboration with developers and cross-functional teams, I’ve developed an approach that balances creativity with structure.

Currently, I’m working as a Marketing Designer at Stream in Amsterdam while also freelancing on smaller design projects. Previously, I worked as a UX/UI Designer at White Label Agency and as a UI Intern at DPDK in Rotterdam, contributing to digital experiences, design systems, and collaborative projects for clients and brands such as IFAW, Blijdorp, MDL, Groot Rotterdam, and more.
